I'M PERPLEXED

WHY IS main stream RADIO GETTING WORST?

NIVEA:
Who on earth told this "sistha" that she could sing, Sade's "Stronger than Pride?"
I'm just going to shake my head and shut my eyes.  It's clear that Lil' Wayne has done a unique number on this poor child.

Kelly Rowland:
I love Kelly Rowland . She has a beautiful voice and a lovely sound, but where was the creativity in "Rose Colored Glasses." It's just another  "Beauty" video. Kelly is always one step away from greatness. She has to come a little stronger to stay in the Spot Light!

Donell Jones:
I remember songs like "Where I Wanna Be" and "I Wanna Love You." What happened to Donell Jones?
Ok, this song is not entirely bad, but he could do so much better. Usually I would never comment on the model in the video. In this case, she looks like a Tranny and not a good one either. Maybe it's time for you to fully retire, Mr. Jones.

" For Colored Girls"

November  2010

I remember the first time I laid eyes on this play. It was showing off Broadway. I sat center stage.  I didn't move, maybe to blink both eyes. The props weren't bold and elaborate. It was well enjoyed; substance, brilliance, I was at "aw!"   It was just something a girl my age needed to see.  I was sixteen and you know the things sixteen year old girls go through. The title of this movie is called "For Colored Girls." It's based on Ntozake Shange's book, "For Colored Girls Who Considered Suicide when the Rainbow isn't Enuf." Never mind race being a factor, women sometimes feel like the world is coming down on them (and at times it surely is) and there is no way around the stress. I'm not going to get into details about women problems and non retributions, by giving away the plot. I'm just going to simply say rent the play or better yet support the writer, Ntozake Shange. You can get the book at amazon.com for $ 9.95. This trailer is "on point" and the cast is phenomenal. Please Enjoy!

What about HIP HOP? Really, what about hip hop?
Can we recover that true essence without beating it down with ragged words and naked bodies.
FREEDOM OF SPEECH is IMPORTANT, BUT WHAT's THE POINT OF HEARING IT CONTINUOUSLY, IF IT's NOT SAYING SOMETHING!

LET'S SEE!
I'm impressed with these KATS. Can I have some feed back. Are you impressed?

IT's Really GOOD!

Ingredients:
• Nonstick cooking spray
• 2 ½ cups roughly chopped cauliflower
• Salt and freshly ground black pepper
• ½ Greek yogurt

Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with foil and spray it with cooking spray.
2. Spread the cauliflower out on the prepared baking sheet. Season it with salt and pepper to taste. Top the cauliflower with another sheet of foil, and roll up the edges to form a sealed package.
3. Roast the cauliflower for 20 minutes. Remove the top foil, being careful of the steam, and continue roasting the cauliflower until it is tender, another 15 to 20 minutes.
4. In the bowl of a food processor, combine the cauliflower with the yogurt. Puree until the mixture is smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste, if desired, and serve.

*Worst Single Slice
Sbarro Stuffed Pepperoni Pizza
960 calories
42 g fat
3,200 mg sodium
Sbarro serves up elephantine slices, so you should know better than to order one that essentially consists of two of those slices folded one atop another. In this one wedge of pizza, Sbarro manages to pack in nearly as many calories as you’d find in four pepperoni slices from Pizza Hut! You want to survive the Sbarro super-slice challenge? Stick to a regular pie, nix the pepperoni and sausage, and limit yourself to one slice.
